Priority Two - Graffiti & Vandalism - Speen Recreation Ground - March 2012
Speen Recreation Ground has again been vandalised this spring and a substantial amount of work was created for the Neighbourhood Wardens to restore the Pavilion to its former glory. In addition, the foot path running from the Bath Road through to Sutton Road also suffered a graffiti attack along with Speen Lane.
If you know anything about any of these incidents, who was involved, or when they occurred, please telephone Thames Valley Police to report it on the new 101 non-emergency number for reporting incidents to our Neighbourhood Police.

In the Spring of last year the play equipment at Speen Recreation Ground was completely renewed with swings, slides and a walkway, costing thousands of pounds and a lot of hours of hard work by Speen Parish Council and other agencies.
Sadly, the equipment was also vandalised on a second occasion warranting a time consuming and costly exercise for the Police, Councillors and residents.

Who Cleaned it all off?
Our thanks to PCSO Adrian Coggins, retired PC Roy Barrington, Lou Warner of Speen Parish Council and all of the Mums and daughters that used their nail varnish and other robust tactics to remove the spray paint. A brilliant community effort! And a special thank you to PCSO Adrian Coggins for organising the clean up.
