Priorities

The Didcot NAG has the following priorities which are shared with the the police in this area.The priorities have been accepted by the NAG in order to engage with the partnership between NAGs and Neighbourhood teams in accordance with the role identified by the PCC.

The Didcot NAG will work with the Neighbourhood team to identify vulnerable areas where strengthening existing NHW systems and encouraging new and additional systems can help to prevent crime and create safety and reassurance.

NAG will encourage partners to identify premises/areas where violent crime occurs in order to inform relevant partners to encourage preventive patrols and proactive interagency action in order to reduce violent incidents.

Through our contacts with other NAGs and NHW Coordinators in surrounding villages and rural areas we will seek to identify gaps in support which could be linked to Didcot NAG or where the creation of other NAGs could be encouraged. This would support our neighbours and the Police in the prevention of Rural crime.
