Priorities

Priorities are identified through consultation with residents in the Thatcham area. To put it simply, representatives of the NAG will talk to the public at local events (such as the “Christmas Lights Ceremony”) or using official surveys and ask them to advise about what or where they would like the Police to be concentrating their local policing efforts. They will also arrange to distribute questionnaires at least once a year that can be returned to agreed points in the community (shops or local council buildings).

As a result of the information received, the Thatcham NAG will agree those areas of priority that the Thames Valley Police will concentrate on when it comes to local policing in the following year.

We are very interested to hear about your views, particularly on perceived anti social behaviour, but also about your thoughts of Thatcham:
  1. One thing you like about Thatcham
  2. One thing you dislike about Thatcham
  3. One thing you would change about Thatcham
