NPT have been actively patrolling this area and there has been reduced ASB. Rectory Road has been quiet. Litter has been a problem and although extra effort has been put in, holidays and sickness have seen overflowing bins due to staff shortage. Martin is aware on litter and action is being taken. Martha reported no problems notified to her.
Residents to report suspicious activity such as drug dealing, vehicle details and descriptions to the Police on 999 if in progress or 101/online after the incident. For both reporting methods a URN or crime reference must be obtained and noted for any future enquiries.
Any other information, please log where seen, dates and times and email this to our NPT.
PRIORITY 2
Stuart Road and Battle Road
ASB, Drug Dealing and Drug Use.
Neighbourhood Policing Team
GREEN
NPT regularly patrolling this area and recently there have been no issues reported although fires had been lit in the woods and glass had been broken on the netball/basketball area endangering children and dogs. David and Marion advised that there have been NO2 canisters and balloons found which when used and shared are not Covid safe. Many tins have been left around the area instead of being put into the adjacent bins. Local residents have been picking up the litter. Martin thanked them for doing this. Young people have been meeting until late and it is intended to have a noise/assembly cut-off by 11.00 pm. There is a notice advising that this is a no alcohol zone.
Residents to report suspicious activity or if you feel uncomfortable about a person(s), vehicle details and
descriptions. Log where seen, dates and times. Information including when and where drug paraphernalia (also look for King size Rizlas used for rolling cannabis) is found to be emailed to our NPT.

Stewart Highnett of Wash Water, David Marsh, Andy Moore, Natalie Ivey, Gary Norman, plus Edward Rose and James Parkinson of Essex Street wish to attend the next one plus Martha Vickers a refresher when next arranged.
David has spoken to Cheryl Evans and the Office of the PCC is very keen to get speeding issues looked at and local SID use can now restart for an hour per week. TVP are carrying out a pilot scheme in Bucks. A SID training portal is being set up to allow people to train after 7 May and they will be covered by Insurance. Renewal of ID cards will be required. Angela to email Cheryl to check current position. Post meeting note: Cheryl has confirmed that a new system will be in place and moving to a virtual platform (e-learning style with training video). This will give those wanting to complete the training easier 24/7 access and removes the need for face-to-face training. The SID portal is ready for beta testing and the system will be tested with a few willing Parishes before releasing for Parish and Town Council general use.
Issues with speeding in Wendan Road. Ainsley has been canvassing residents re speeding perceived to be 60-70 mph and is getting support for the use of SID in the road. Residents to log days and times when speeding occurs.
Speeding in Enborne Road is also a problem by The Lamb pub where parking by or near the safety islands in the road cause cars to drive on the wrong side of the road when trying to pass at speed. Parking restrictions and a speed check may be put into place in the near future.
Speeding issues also in Craven Road, Valley Road, Fifth Road, Essex Street, Montgomery Road, Wendan Road, Wash Water, far end of Enborne Road and Monks Lane.
The 30 mph speed limit will be extended from Gorselands to Wash Water and has been approved by NTC but delays in this being carried out. The 20 mph will be permanent along the Andover Road near Schools and will hopefully be reduced to 20 mph in other areas.
Natalie advised that the speed check in Fifth Road was carried out by Road Safety for approx. 3 hours (possibly each day) and that speeds are between 40 – 60 mph. Her data has been sent to the Neighbourhood Policing Team.
